Today we delve into the wedding of Lucie and Antoine , our lovers in Lilac.
It was on April 29, 2023, at the Château de Losmonerie in Aixe-sur-Vienne, that these two passionate souls said yes to each other for life.
The couple's unexpected meeting
An unexpected meeting led to an unconditional love story, which began in October 2020.
Antoine and Lucie were introduced by Antoine's sister, Camille, while they are both work colleagues. During a sports outing, the two singles got along wonderfully and kept in touch after the event.
As a true gentleman, Antoine prepared a candlelit dinner for Lucie, at his home, in this post-confinement period. The rest is anyone's guess, Lucie fell under his spell, and she never left Antoine's. She even brought her feline companion!
Antoine makes his marriage proposal
The first days of August 2022 marked an unforgettable moment in the history of their relationship. While they were enjoying a vacation in Reunion Island, Antoine selected an idyllic beach to ask Lucie's hand in marriage.
The setting was perfect, with the setting sun bathing the beach in golden light. That's when Antoine proposed, and of course, Lucie said yes! The two lovers celebrated their engagement by watching the sun set over the Indian Ocean. A magical and unforgettable moment for both of them.
Our dear Lucie’s bridal looks
Let's take a look at the look of our lovely bride Lucie, who delicately chose two distinct ensembles, adapted to each stage of their nuptial union.
During their visit to the town hall, she wore a sumptuous white jumpsuit. Her bodice, custom-made for her, featured graceful straps, while an elegant cape-style top, exquisitely transparent, designed by Mary Mariées , completed her outfit. This creation, both classic and contemporary, instantly won us over with its beauty and refinement.
To complete the ensemble, Lucie carefully selected her bridal accessories in our atelier. She opted for our delicate Sublime drop earrings made with natural cultured pearls, as well as our matching Liliana choker necklace . These elegant and refined jewels added an extra touch of grace to her bridal look, making them even more sublime.
This set of natural pearl jewelry , offering a range of pearls of various sizes, constitutes the perfect set of accessories to enhance a bridal outfit marked by elegance, sobriety and delicacy.
These precious bridal jewels are meticulously crafted using delicate transparent thread, adorned with a careful selection of natural pearls of different sizes. These freshwater pearls bring a touch of sophistication and modernity.
The dangling earrings are made with drop-shaped studs, plated in gold filled. From this base hang three transparent wires decorated with beautiful pearls. The pearls used in the creation of the jewel are natural freshwater pearls.
The choker necklace is made up of 5 natural pearls, ranging from a central pearl of normal size to smaller pearls on its 2 ends. It is a simple jewel but which instantly brings modernity and finesse to the bride's headpiece.
Lucie addressed some tender words to us concerning wedding jewelry:
"It was my 3 witnesses girls who gave them to me! With my two outfits it was perfect, elegant, simple, chic, everything I like. I wanted pearls but not something too classic and "granny". I found the jewelry so modern and in tune with the times! I still wear them!" Lucie
For the church stage, Lucie chose a simply magnificent princess dress, in a captivating white. Its off-the-shoulder collar and perfect volume highlighted the bride for this unforgettable day. This wonderful creation also comes from Mary mariées .
She chose to keep her choker necklace and natural pearl dangling earrings, carefully selected for her first outfit. These accessories perfectly match her off-the-shoulder neckline, bringing a touch of modernity and sophistication to her look.
The bride's beautiful bouquet
A lovely surprise awaited our beloved bride: Lucie had expressed her desire to adorn her bouquet with peonies, although the florist explained to her that it would be a challenge, given that the season was not right for it. However, early on the morning of the wedding, her brother-in-law took charge of the bouquet, and to Lucie's great joy, he brought with him a pleasant surprise: the much-desired peonies! This lovely attention filled her with happiness, and we can only warmly congratulate the florist for this touch of magic.
The final bouquet was an exquisite work, imbued with romanticism, elegantly combining white peonies, embellished with eucalyptus, roses and gypsophila.
The husband's costume, Antoine
For the husband's look, he selected a timeless navy three-piece suit with a stunning bow tie that matched his jacket. As a little reminder of the theme, he chose to carry flowers in the handkerchief pocket of his blazer. Husband look challenge accomplished with flying colors.
The reception venue, in the colors of their region
The couple didn't want to wait until 2024 to get married, so they looked for a venue available for 2023. They opted for the Château de Losmonerie , which they already knew, and a date was available on April 29th. Although they had a moment of doubt about their ability to organize their wedding in just 8 months, they decided to take on the challenge without a wedding planner, just with the help of their entourage. And everything went well!
The bride and groom decided to arrive in a vintage car: a 2CV! Their arrival was dotted with little hearts, the detail that changes everything.
As for the decoration, the bride and groom chose the Rustic theme.
For the reception , guests could gather around high white tables accompanied by sublime bouquets in terracotta-colored vases on each. The dominance of wood and flowers gave the rustic side to their reception while keeping this simple and elegant side of Lucie.
A small buffet was available to guests prepared by the manager of the restaurant “Chez Ginette” in Limoges and friend of the couple!
For the decoration of the reception room , it was fully in harmony with that of the wine of honor! White, flowers and a lot of love.
Beautiful glassware was placed on each table, accompanied by napkin bows and floral centerpieces. All the floral decorations were done by Antoine's mother, who is a former florist. She made all the bouquets and floral arrangements for the decoration, with the help of the bride and groom.
Our favorite part of its decor: the “Love” painted terracotta plates!
We would like to congratulate the two lovers on their sumptuous wedding! We would also like to warmly thank our bride Lilac Lucie, who wore our Sublime earrings and our Niege necklace with elegance. She is a beautiful bride who shared with us the most beautiful moments of her wedding with great interest in our workshop <3.
