As you may know, we were delighted to be able to carry out this year's collection photo shoot in the romantic city of Paris. Behind a professional photo shoot in our capital city lie many organizational secrets... In this article, we tell you all about our preparations, from selecting the venue to the day of the shoot. We'll also share our tips for a perfect prewedding shoot in Paris.
Paris, an exceptional setting for a wedding-inspired photo shoot
Paris, the city of lovers , unfolds its romantic scenery with grace and elegance. Its cobblestone streets, quaint cafes and majestic monuments create an enchanting backdrop for love stories. Tree-lined boulevards offer hand-in-hand strolls, bathed in the soft sunlight filtering through the branches.
The Seine, the eternal companion of lovers, meanders through the city, offering breathtaking panoramas. The banks of the Seine become privileged places for romantic strolls, where couples kiss while watching the Bateaux Mouches glide on the calm waters, under the illuminated bridges. The rooftops of Paris, witnesses of past love stories, offer breathtaking views of the city. Parisian cafés, with their wrought iron chairs and marble tables, are havens of romance where couples linger over a glass of wine. Laughter and soft murmurs escape from the terraces, while passersby pass by, bringing to life the lively scene of Parisian life.
The romantic setting of Paris is an invitation to love, tenderness and passion. Every corner of the city offers a unique and intimate atmosphere that sets hearts ablaze and nourishes eternal memories. It is a symphony of beauty, elegance and romance that makes Paris a popular destination for lovers from all over the world. So what better city than this to bring a bridal jewelry collection to life?
Choosing between the most beautiful photoshoot locations in Paris , the majestic monuments, bridges, squares, streets, palaces, cafes, restaurants or even alleys for the decor of our shooting was not easy in this city offering so much choice. After making a list of the most romantic and inspiring places in Paris we chose to stay in the heart of the city, in the 1st arrondissement, a true historical gem.
The most beautiful places for a photo shoot in Paris
The Louvre , a palace that breathes art and history
The Louvre, guardian of centuries past, exudes power and influence, rising like a beacon illuminating the artistic and cultural grandeur of France. The majestic arcades of the palace, which stretch along the Rue Rivoli, these romantic structures with breathtaking architecture, gave life to our hair accessories with a floral and romantic charm . Light hairstyles with loose and wavy hair were selected to wear our combs, hair pins and jewelry with floral motifs in antique gold that perfectly harmonize with this romantic, delicate and luxurious decor. A tulle dress embroidered with pearls and sequins with a sweetheart neckline and a wide back neckline was the perfect choice to accompany this enchanting decor.
The square of the old Royal Palace , with its breathtaking architecture
It was on the famous square of the former royal palace, La Cour Napoléon, that the wedding photoshoot of our second bridal outfit from the 2023 collection was held. This magnificent courtyard with breathtaking facades such as that of the Colbert pavilion were unparalleled harmonious settings to bring to life a selection of elegant, modern and refined jewelry and accessories . The intention of this second part was to recreate a timeless bridal look, modern but delicate and feminine at the same time. A sublime dress adorned with a deep back neckline accompanied by a sketched French lace was the perfect choice for this second bridal outfit . For the choice of hairstyle, we opted for a romantic messy bun . Hair pins and combs adorned with natural cultured pearls , such as Gui and Coquelicot, enhance the beauty of this magnificent bun worthy of a contemporary bride .
The Pont Alexandre III , the most romantic place in Paris
For our last part of our wedding photoshoot , we chose the Pont Alexandre III, a timeless symbol of love and romance. The sparkling reflections of the street lamps and its sculptures create a magical atmosphere. On this majestic bridge, we felt alone in the middle of the crowd, lost in our own universe of tenderness and passion. For this part, a wedding dress with long sleeves and a U-shaped neckline on the back was the perfect choice to recreate a romantic, elegant and classic wedding outfit. Organizing a wedding photo shoot in Paris
The shooting day of our collection of jewelry and wedding accessories
We have been working on the design of our jewelry for several months in order to offer you beautiful wedding accessories.
After several months of imagination, creation, testing and design, we are launching into the organization of the wedding photo shoot. Selection of dresses, location of the shoot, service providers (wedding photographer, makeup artist, hairdresser, videographer, model) ... Several calls and emails later, here we are heading to Paris, the capital of love, the dream location for our professional photo shoot.

We start the day with a hair and makeup appointment for our model.

Head to the Place du Louvre to start our wedding photoshoot accompanied by our photographer and our videographer. The schedule was perfect, because it allowed us to avoid as much as possible the crowds that invade the streets of Paris at the first light of day. Unfortunately for us, Paris was enveloped in a cold wind in March, making the shooting conditions less pleasant for our model, so to prevent her from getting sick, we covered her between each photo with a warm blanket. The more the day went on, the more the curiosity of the tourists aroused around us and our magical world, curious looks, smiles, dreamers… To our great delight.

Second part of the shooting on the splendid Alexandre III bridge, only that day, Paris was alive with strikes and a spirit of revolution that had brought the French into the streets and blocked public transport. But after a race against time to respect our schedule, here we are at the most romantic place in Paris to continue our magical photoshoot.
1 p.m.
End of this intense day, we leave happy, very proud and our heads full of dreams and impatience for what comes next. We would like to thank the entire Lilac team for these weeks of organization, but also the superb shooting team without whom we would not have been able to take up the challenge that this day was. Thanks to the model Melissa Dallaf , the sparkling wedding makeup artist-hairdresser Laure Baruch , the wedding photographer Pascal Vo and his sharp eye and the super videographer Gaëtan from The Guerin films . We also thank the creators of the sublime dresses Avina ,Yasmin Hassaine and Atelier Emelia who agreed to lend us their dress to highlight our new collection of accessories!
Our advice for a successful wedding or couple photo shoot in Paris:
- Before the shooting, remember to talk to your photographer, it is very important to have a good feeling with him to be as comfortable as possible in front of the lens, but also to make sure that he will listen to you and that he understands the atmosphere you want for your photos.
- Prepare an inspiration board , also called a moodboard, in advance so that your photographer can clearly understand the type of photo you want. It will also allow you to prepare your poses so that you are well prepared when the moment comes to shine in front of the lens...
- Also remember to plan your wedding photo shoot so that you can take photos in all the planned locations and not regret running out of time.
- Start your wedding photo shoot early in the morning , you will be alone in the streets of Paris and therefore probably more comfortable posing in front of the photographer...
- Bring a change of shoes to move between different places. Your feet will thank you for not having to walk all over Paris in stiletto heels!
- Remember to bring accessories to help with the staging: flowers, sunglasses, hats, an umbrella, etc.
- Check the weather forecast and have a plan B in case of bad weather. Find a sheltered location like the arches of the Place du Louvre, plan indoor photos or do a very romantic shoot in the rain with an umbrella for two.
- Finally our best advice, stay natural ! It's a moment of sharing between you and your soulmate, that you will remember for the rest of your life. Relax and be yourself.
